How we treat each other here. Applies everywhere in the app.
Be real
- Register with your real name. Your screen name is yours to choose.
- Use recent photos and be honest about your age and where you are.
- One account per person, and you must be 18 or older.
- No photos of children, including your own kids and your own childhood photos.
- Do not post false or misleading information about yourself or anyone else.
Be decent
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech.
- No defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content aimed at someone's religion, race, ethnicity or national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or health.
- Saying what you believe is welcome here. Attacking someone else for what they believe, or misquoting religious texts to make a point, is not.
- No rating, ranking, or scoring other members on their looks.
- No comments about someone's body they did not ask for.
- No explicit sexual content and no unwanted sexual messages or advances, anywhere on Felicity. The Sexuality, Intimacy, and Personal Boundaries section below covers where the line is.
- Stop messaging when someone asks you to.
- Do not share another member's photos, messages, or information.
- Reporting someone for their faith, health, or identity is itself a violation.
Sexuality, Intimacy, and Personal Boundaries
Felicity is for adults, and part of finding the right person is being able to say what you actually want. You are welcome to say who you are. Your orientation, your gender identity, the shape of your relationships, your boundaries, and what you are looking for all belong on your profile.
Some of it is more personal than that. Your preferences and expectations around intimacy, and the way you want a relationship to work, belong in your Personal Truth, shared only with the members you grant access to, one at a time.
What is not allowed anywhere on Felicity, in any section, private or public:
- Explicit descriptions of sexual acts or body parts written to arouse the reader.
- Nudity or sexual imagery in any photo you upload.
- Offering, requesting, or arranging sexual services in exchange for money or anything of value.
- Sending unwanted sexual messages or advances to any member. These are subject to report, and if reported, will be addressed under the Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions.
There is a difference between telling someone who you are and writing explicit sexual content. Say what you are looking for, what you need, and what you will not accept, without explicit sexual references. That is welcome anywhere on Felicity. Explicit descriptions of sexual acts or body parts, written to arouse the reader, are not allowed in any section, no matter who can see it.
Let people go at their own pace
- Never pressure anyone to meet, move to text, send photos, or open their Personal Truth.
Personal Truth is given, never taken
- What you are shown stays between you and the other member. No screenshots or sharing another member's personal information, inside or outside the app.
- Telling anyone about a member's health, faith, or history without permission can end your account.
- Personal Truth is set to private by default, and sharing it is always the member's choice, one person at a time. There is no way to make it visible to everyone.
- Being granted access is not consent to anything else.
Coffee House and The Commons
- Your screen name shows on what you post. If your profile is hidden or your account is paused, your photo comes off your posts, but the posts themselves stay where you left them.
- Stay on topic. No advertising, no recruiting, self-promotion, or fundraising.
- Do not gang up on another member in a thread.
- Moderators can hide or remove posts.
No scams
- No fake profiles or borrowed photos.
- Never ask members for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or account access.
- No investment offers, multi-level marketing, or pyramid schemes.
Keep this out of Felicity
- Nudity, sexual imagery, or explicit images anywhere on Felicity, in any section, private or public.
- Any sexual content involving a minor, and any photo of a child.
- Graphic violence, blood, or weapons in photos.
- Realistic depictions of people or animals being killed, injured, tortured, or abused, and anything that encourages violence.
- Encouraging the illegal or reckless use of weapons or dangerous objects, and buying or selling firearms or ammunition.
- Prostitution, human trafficking, or the exploitation of any person.
- Promoting or selling illegal drugs or controlled substances, and encouraging heavy drinking, tobacco, or vaping.
- Daring or challenging anyone into something that could get them hurt.
- Using a recent tragedy, such as a violent attack, a disaster, or an outbreak, to promote something or to shock people.
- Content you do not have the right to post, including other people's photos, writing, or artwork.
- Anything illegal, or anything encouraging self-harm.
If you or someone you know is having a hard time, you can call or text 988 in the US or Canada to reach crisis support, any hour, any day.
If a guideline is broken
- Everything you write and every photo you upload is screened automatically when you save it, and can be reviewed by a Felicity moderator.
- We moderate behavior, not opinions. Disagreeing with someone is not a violation. Depending on the severity, typically we remove the one violation item and tell you what it was and why, so you can make the correction. Your account stays in good standing. If it keeps happening: a warning, messaging and/or posting could be paused, your account suspended, or removal from Felicity.
- Some things end an account the first time. Threats of violence, sexual content involving a minor, sexual extortion, sharing someone's Personal Truth to harm them, or coming back under a new account after removal.
- Accounts suspected of being fake, or of misrepresenting who the member is, may be suspended without prior notice. To request reinstatement, follow the appeal process below. We may ask you to verify your identity before an account is considered for reinstatement.
- Behavior between members that happens off the app can also be acted on.
- Report any profile, message, or post. Reports are private, we never say who filed one, and we act within 24 hours. You can block without reporting, and report without blocking.
- Think we got it wrong? Write to Support@FindFelicity.com. We review every appeal.
